The video features her 4-month-old sons Cooper and Olsen lying next to each other, engaging in non-verbal baby banter. They smile, stare into each other’s eyes, babble, and delight in their mirror image. After weeks of trying, Meagan finally succeeded in getting them to acknowledge each other’s presence.
A Delightful Milestone
I have a friend whose twins are 6 months old and she said, ‘They just noticed each other.’ I was like, ‘That’s a milestone—what?’

said Meagan. Her twins already react to their older brothers Jackson, 6, and Lucas, 3, but hadn’t acknowledged each other until this lovely moment.
The twins were born premature at approximately 33 weeks. Cooper weighed just 3 pounds and 14 ounces (earning the nickname ‘Mini Cooper’), while Olsen weighed five pounds and one ounce. They spent their first month in NICU before coming home to join the family.
Capturing The Moment
Meagan has captured special moments with her twins Cooper and Olsen. During a shoot to get them to smile simultaneously, she unexpectedly caught them smiling at each other. This candid moment made her incredibly happy.
While trying to photograph both twins smiling at once, Meagan saw them turn towards each other and break into smiles. Describing this instant, she said,It was a candid moment that made my heart so happy.
Family Life with Twins
Cooper and Olsen make it a party of five for the Garr family, bringing endless joy to their older siblings and parents. Interestingly, Meagan had wanted twins since she was five years old. She recalled saying,I’m going to have twin boys when I grow up.
Despite not having twins running in either family, her oldest son Jackson was convinced from early on,I want two babies.
His premonition came true much to everyone’s amazement when they discovered they were expecting not one but two bundles of joy during Meagan’s first trimester ultrasound.
