The latest episode of The Real Housewives of Dubai brought some intense moments and gave us a glimpse into the evolving dynamics of its colorful cast.
A Party to Celebrate And End a Chapter
Caroline Stanbury recently had her ‘Good Riddance’ party, an event hosted by her best friend Michael. It was meant to mark Caroline and her husband Sergio Carallo’s move out of Michael’s house, much to Michael’s relief as they stayed longer than expected. 
Net of Neediness
While the celebration seemed light-hearted, underlying issues between Caroline and Sergio were hard to miss. As Sergio clings onto Caroline with almost puppy-like dependence, Caroline struggles with the weight of his neediness. Sergio lacks a pronounced career direction since abandoning his middling soccer career and moving to the Gulf, stirring unease in their marriage.
Seeking Help from an Unexpected Source
In an effort to mend their relationship, Caroline sought the services of Princess Diana’s hypnotherapist. During her session, Stanbury uncovered childhood memories, drawing parallels between these experiences and her current dynamic with Sergio. The hypnotherapist insightfully pointed out Caroline’s tendency to treat Sergio not as an equal, but more like a domestic aid—something that doesn’t sit well with him.
A Souring Friendship
If Caroline was trying to find stability with Sergio, tensions with another cast member—Caroline Brooks—were bubbling over. After Brooks called her a particularly offensive name, Stanbury decided to handle the situation by disinviting Brooks from the ‘Good Riddance’ party. This was an attempt to reduce hostility and perhaps address their issues directly.
More Drama Lurking in the Background
The removal of Brooks from the event didn’t eliminate drama altogether. Stanbury’s daughter Yasmine amusingly swapped cake toppers, putting a toy representation of Sergio in a dress—light-hearted perhaps, but symbolically rich given the couple’s struggles.
Brooks Feels Betrayed
The animosity between Brooks and Stanbury is partially rooted in changes within their group. Feeling left out after Stanbury mended fences with mutual friends Ayan and Lesa, Brooks struggles with feelings of betrayal. Fortunately or unfortunately, it appears there is more tension on the horizon as conversations between them did not resolve much.
Sara’s Refreshing Side
Elsewhere, Sara Al Madani offered viewers an entertaining look into her dating life with her trademark humor and candidness making her blind date segments highly enjoyable.
