I’m having a little bit of writer’s block right now not to mention I’m at a loss for finding any interesting news stories. So when this happens it’s always appropriate to share something from Dumb and Dumber. It’s not a hard rule. I could have shared something from a myriad of films but I chose this one because for some reason I was thinking about the “Big Gulps” scene. It’s literally a 10 second clip and to this day I think one of the funniest moments of the movie.
I’m too lazy to look this up right now but there’s no way this scene was scripted at all. There’s just no way. Honestly I have no idea why I laugh so hard but nearly everyone I know feels the same way about this line. Is it the fact that the guys drinking the big gulps look sort of gangster and Jim Carrey comes off as the whitest, goofiest guy ever here? Honestly I just can’t pinpoint it but every single time I see this line I at least smirk.
To sit here and say I laugh out loud would be a lie but yeah, I always smile. “Big gulps huh, alright, see later!”
