Radcliffe’s perspective on a potential return
The actor, renowned for his portrayal of The Boy Who Lived in all eight movies, expressed his thoughts on possibly returning to the wizarding world.
He noted, “I don’t think so,” explaining that he feels producers would like to keep the two franchises separate. “I think they very wisely want to [have] a clean break. And I don’t know if it would work to have us do anything in it.”
Content with staying a spectator
Despite being offered a possible opportunity, Radcliffe seemed content with leaving his Hogwarts robes behind. He added, “I’m very happy to just watch along with everyone else.
“
A hint of possibility
(Radcliffe maintained a coy stance when asked what his response might be if the production did request his return. He remarked, I’m gonna be a politician about this and not deal in hypotheticals.
A focus on theater and family
The 34-year-old actor has shifted his focus towards his theater career, receiving a Tony Award nomination for his role in Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along.
Additionally, Radcliffe has embarked on a new journey into parenthood. Last year, he welcomed his first child with longtime girlfriend Erin Darke. He reflected on this experience by saying, “It’s the best… I never thought it would be possible for a creature to make me so tired and me still just love that thing so much. It’s been a crazy year.

This period has provided many lessons for Radcliffe. He openly praised Erin Darke by stating, “It’s taught me that women are incredible… My partner Erin is incredible.
