KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs defensive end BJ Thompson is reported to be in stable condition following a seizure that led to cardiac arrest, sources have confirmed. The incident occurred at the team’s practice facility on Thursday morning.
The Chiefs did not offer many details into what led to Thompson’s seizure and canceled all team activities for the remainder of the day. The team also moved a scheduled media session back to Friday.
Emergency Measures Taken
Thompson, 25, was swiftly taken to an area hospital by ambulance from the practice facility which led to the cancellation of Thursday’s OTA practice. The practice session has since been rescheduled for Friday.
