Two Central Florida teens, 17-year-old Cayden Boudah and 18-year-old Alexzander Robles, were recently apprehended for a series of car break-ins. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office detectives have identified and arrested the teens, with potential charges pending from multiple local police departments.

The two suspects have been charged in seven cases within the jurisdiction of the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. According to authorities, firearms were stolen from three vehicles and subsequently traded for narcotics in Daytona Beach. Although those specific guns have not been recovered, detectives did manage to seize two other potentially stolen firearms along with magazines, ammunition, a ski mask, and additional evidence during a search of Robles’ bedroom.

Volusia County detectives are actively coordinating with several other local law enforcement agencies, including the Ormond Beach Police Department, the Daytona Beach Police Department, the Port Orange Police Department, and the New Smyrna Beach Police Department. Court Appearance and Charges

One of the suspects, Devonte Smokes, appeared in court where he was booked without bond. He faces numerous charges including violation of probation, resisting an officer without violence, felony driving with a suspended or revoked license, fleeing and eluding law enforcement at high speed, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of fentanyl, and engaging in a sexual act with a minor aged 16 to 17.

The incident report further states that Smokes had previously been arrested on multiple charges related to aggravated fleeing and eluding.
