The legendary Budweiser Clydesdales are gracing Alpharetta with their presence on the 6th of July, 2024. This appearance is tied to Folds of Honor, a remarkable program dedicated to providing educational scholarships to families of fallen or disabled military members and first responders.
Citing Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, the founder of Folds of Honor: I have seen death on the battlefield and destruction that I carry with me and deal with in my own ways,
he shared. But I had never seen this side of war…We live in a complex world, but I still think it’s pretty darn simple: when people need help, you help them.
Honoring Sacrifices Through Scholarships
Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded over 53,000 life-changing scholarships valued at approximately $245 million. These scholarships support private school tuition for grades K-12, college, technical or trade schools, and post-graduate work.
Be sure to catch the Clydesdales from 11:00 AM at Alpharetta City Hall, located at 2 Park Plaza, and later from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Alpharetta American Legion at 201 Wills Rd.

The Clydesdales have represented Anheuser-Busch since 1933, originally celebrating the repeal of Prohibition. Over decades, they’ve not only become a symbol of the brand but also an indelible piece of Americana.
A QB spokesman remarked about the ongoing partnership saying: Quality Brands has donated to Folds of Honor alongside Anheuser-Busch for many years, including $10,000 in 2023.
