The Wolfs‘ teaser surely kept it minimalistic. Clocking in at just 45 seconds, the preview spotlights our two lead actors in a tense, silent car ride. George Clooney takes the wheel while Brad Pitt’s eyes dart around, scanning his surroundings through rain-streaked windows. The squeak of windshield wipers sets an eerily quiet tone, making the tension palpable.
The Tale of Two Fixers
Wolves, which will be written and directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts, is the ‘tale of two lone wolf fixers assigned to the same job.’
This new work presents Pitt and Clooney as fixers navigating high-stakes crime scenes. According to Clooney’s conversation with Deadline back in 2022, both actors deliberately took pay cuts to assure the movie would see a theatrical release in addition to premiering on Apple TV+. It was an exciting time because it got to be one of those weird bidding wars which happen every once in a while, and it ended up being pretty extreme, and Apple came in with a really big number for Brad and I.
