Ann Maddox has been making waves on Vanderpump Rules, and we have the latest on her employment at Something About Her. Following her stint as Tom Sandoval’s assistant, she has now joined Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix at their shop.
In a recent email to The Daily Dish, Ann shared her enthusiasm: I am very excited about my new job at Something About Her. Ariana and Katie are the best bosses a girl can ask for! [I] can’t wait to ‘break bread’ with all the lovely fans of VPR at the sandwich shop. See you soon!
A New Chapter at Something About Her
Ariana recently clarified Ann’s employment status on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, explaining that she’s had another temporary job
. However, on the May 14 episode, Ann confirmed she is still part of the team.
Since the May 22 opening, Ann has been involved with organizing the back of the restaurant and assisting with various tasks, as seen in season 11, episode 14.
Katie and Ariana described why they were thrilled to have Ann on board, with Ariana noting, something [Ann] had said she wanted in a job before was to be someone who contributed creatively and somebody who had upward mobility—things like that—and that’s definitely something that we have.
A Memorable Reunion Appearance
Ann made a surprise appearance during Part 3 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion. Host Andy Cohen announced a toast with sandwiches from Something About Her: We usually end reunions by raising a delicious cocktail. But tonight’s toast will be with ‘toast.’ We have Something About Her sandwiches waiting in the wings.
The event further highlighted Ann’s role in this newest chapter, showcasing her involvement and impact at the establishment.
The Dynamic Between Ariana and Tom
The relationship dynamics remain complex. Tom Sandoval attempted to apologize to Ariana Madix on camera, prompting her to leave during a cast event. Reflecting on this, Tom mentioned, I thought maybe we could have more of a less fueled, like, shell-shocked conversation.
Ariana’s strong stance against Raquel Leviss was also evident: Ariana led the charge in crucifying the pageant queen for her ‘diabolical, demented, disgusting, subhuman’ role.

The grand opening of Something About Her was a significant event. On May 22, enthusiastic fans gathered outside under its yellow-and-white striped awning. The menu offers nine sandwich creations priced around $15 each and includes classic options like an $8 PB&J and an $11 grilled cheese.
