Adam Levine is making a highly anticipated return to The Voice for the upcoming season 27. The Maroon 5 frontman just announced his comeback to the NBC singing competition show after a few seasons away.
Levine Returns with Fresh Energy
Levine first joined The Voice as one of its original coaches when the show premiered in April 2011. He shared the stage with Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green. Levine was a mainstay for an impressive 16 seasons until leaving in 2019. The Maroon 5 frontman mentioned in his announcement video that he’s well rested and eager to get started again.

During his original tenure, Levine led three singers to victory: Javier Colon in Season 1, Tessanne Chin in Season 5, and Jordan Smith in Season 9. His track record demonstrates his prowess as a coach.

The new addition to the roster is Grammy-nominated country star Kelsea Ballerini. While she is new to the coaching role full-time, Ballerini has experience on The Voice, having served as a Season 16 battle advisor and filling in as a coach during Season 20 for Kelly Clarkson.

Michael Bublé, who joined as a coach in Season 26, will be returning for another exciting season. His expertise in crooning and extensive music career have made him an excellent mentor for aspiring singers.
