The reunion of Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron on-screen has reignited discussions and excitement, as the two actors dive back into their roles as lovers in Netflix’s romantic comedy A Family Affair.
Both stars previously starred together in the 2012 crime thriller The Paperboy, which was notable for its explicit content, stirring reactions from audiences. That film marked a significant point in Zac’s career. Reflecting on those times, Zac said, I’ve never been so scared in my life, but that moment affirmed this movie was everything I set out to do.

After years, stepping into similar shoes wasn’t daunting for Kidman and Efron. Nicole explained to Extra TV, There is an ease there, and also we were able to talk and decide to do it.
This foundation made it easy for them to rekindle their on-screen chemistry.
Zac elaborated on how their collaboration came about, She called me and said, ‘Do you want to do this? Because if you do it, I’ll do it.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I do want to do it.’
