Yorgos Lanthimos, the director behind critically acclaimed films like The Favourite and Poor Things, is back with a new project titled Bugonia. Bugonia is slated for release on August 8, 2025, with distribution handled by Focus Features in the U.S. and Universal Pictures internationally.
Adaptation of a South Korean Sci-fi Comedy
The film is a dark comedy based on the 2003 South Korean sci-fi comedy, Save the Green Planet,
