Slow-Burn Thriller

Joel Edgerton followed up The Gift with the critically acclaimed Boy Erased, solidifying his talent behind the camera. Though he currently has no directorial projects lined up, his first two films propose that he should return to this role soon.

Rebecca Hall plays Robyn with empathy, grounding the film as the audience discovers secrets alongside her. While Hall recently appeared in Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire, her role in The Gift truly highlights her skill.
