Two Georgia firefighters, who were reportedly in a toxic relationship, have been found dead in a car in Tennessee following a week-long manhunt that spanned multiple states. The duo, Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander, both 24, vanished on June 24 from a Crunch gym parking lot, sparking an extensive cross-state search that captivated public attention. Their mysterious disappearance and tragic end have left many questions unanswered.
Their bodies were discovered in Raegan’s car in Cocke County, Tennessee, approximately 450 miles away from their last known location. Vanishing Act at the Gym

Unsettling Breakup Details Emerge
According to Chandler’s mother, Jane, the couple had been in a toxic relationship for seven years. Jane claimed Raegan had difficulty coping with their recent breakup and was harassing her son. She stated that Raegan had threatened to commit suicide after their split.
Details from Hinesville Police include an incident where Anderson caused a disturbance at an Olive Garden where Kuhbander was on a date. As a result, Anderson was arrested and later demoted by the Liberty County Fire Department.
The Chase Across States
CCTV footage revealed Raegan circling the parking lot while Chandler appeared very comfortable post-workout. Jane believes he got into Raegan’s Ford under duress, and then they drove off together.
Tracking efforts captured Raegan at a gas station in South Carolina, aligning with Chandler’s phone signal’s final known location. Tragically, their bodies were located inside Raegan’s vehicle in Cocke County.
