The antagonist, Harlan, an AI terrorist set on world domination, is played by Simu Liu, known for his roles in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Barbie. This role marks another intense performance for Liu, whose character adds a chilling layer to the story.

Produced under Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions banner, the film brings together diverse talents both in front of and behind the camera. Jennifer Lopez seems well-aware of the stakes involved: The first time I read the script… I sobbed.
