Author: Ryan Vandergriff

Ryan has a tremendous passion for writing and for the medium of television, which he feels is undergoing something of a new "Golden Age." Over the coarse of the last six years, he has written four self-published books on the early days of rock and roll (specifically Buddy Holly's final tour) and also writes and edits a quarterly newsletter devoted to Buddy Holly. His love for television traverses time: he grew up on the words and wisdom of Mr. Rod Serling ("Requiem For a Heavyweight," "The Twilight Zone," "They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar," etc.) and from there jumped into the deep waters of great episodic television such as "Lost" and "The X-Files." Currently his wife and he are addicted to such programs as "The Curse of Oak Island," the revival of "The X-Files," "Agent Carter of Shield," "Ancient Aliens," "Finding Bigfoot," "Wayward Pines," "Comic Book Men," "Louie," "American Horror Story," "Homeland" and "Ash Versus The Evil Dead."
