Mila Kunis is the latest star to join the ensemble cast of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. The Netflix feature, directed by Rian Johnson, is set to start production in early June in the UK.
The movie has an impressive roster of actors, including Josh O’Connor, who co-stars in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming drama Challengers; Cailee Spaeny, known for her role in Civil War; and Andrew Scott, who recently starred in Ripley. Additionally, Glenn Close will also be part of this ambitious cast.
The plot details and character information remain under wraps, but fans can expect Daniel Craig’s eccentric detective Benoit Blanc to unravel another complex mystery surrounded by a host of colorful characters.
Previous installments of the franchise, such as the original Knives Out released in 2019, grossed over $310 million globally. The sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, released on Netflix in 2022, featured stars like Edward Norton and Janelle Monáe.
Rian Johnson, alongside his partner Ram Bergman, is producing the film under their T-Street banner. Given the success of previous editions and the powerful ensemble cast this time around, anticipation for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery continues to intensify.
